Three Books On The Go

So I've told people that I am in the middle of reading more than one book. It's the truth but only partially. I'm just past half-way on the Stuart MacBride Cold Granite book, and I decided to pick up something a little lighter.
Born Confused by Tanuja Desai Hidier is a teen book about an Indian girl living in America. New jersey, actually. From the sounds of it, her parents are going to have an arranged marriage for her, and from what I have read so far (the first two chapters) that just will not work at all. As much as Dimple is an Indian girl, she is very much Americanized. Her relatives are even insistent that she try to become more "white." There are 500 pages to this book, so I can imagine it will take quite a few twists and turns along the way.
I've also mentioned that I am reading Blood Eagle by Craig Russell, but I am finding this one to be tough to pick up and read. I had finished Brother Grimm quite some time ago and imagined this one would have it's tough moments, but i just can't seem to pick it back up.
And last but not least is Cold Granite. It's actually a really good read, but nothing seems to keep my occupied these days. I don't know what I am looking for in a book right now. Maybe I need some fluffy RDI or a short and nasty mystery. Maybe I'll settle on something soon.
I won't say much more for the night. Instead I think I'll pack up Hank II and go back to reading Cold Granite on my nice extremely comfortable leather couch.
