It's 2006, Looks Like I'm In a Timewarp!
So I just read through some of my old blogs. And old appears to be the correct term. 2005!?!?!? Where the hell did a whole year go? Guess I found I had more important things to do.
Well, now that it's a "new year" for you, Mr Blog, let's get down to business.
BookCrossing and BookRelay has taken over my life. No, it's not the thousands of books I live with day in and day out. It's this obsession I have with meeting other book geeks: Just. Like. Me. I even went to the silly convention (kind of, well not really. I just hung out with the relayers after all the activities were done.) And I guess I can't call it silly because quite frankly, I loved it! Loved the people, loved the talking and adored the live swaps! What a great bunch of pals I made :)
Secondly, I'm finally doing something for others. Volunteering once a week at the Humane Society feeding the kittens. And what little buggers they can be! But I truly love them to death, and have set them up as my background on both my laptaop and the computer at work. Never thought I'd actually do the volunteering, mainly cos I thought they'd make me do yucky stuff like cleaning poop, or helping with the dying animals. But this is definately quite rewarding :)
Now that it's past 1230 in the morning, I'm going to publish you off, and see if I can remember to write in you more frequently.
Jebs :)
P.S. I'm reading Cold Granite at the mo by Stuart MacBride
